Groups

A group is a named tag you use to organize your records — for example “Oslo North”, “Long-haul” or “Key accounts”. Each group has one or more group types that decide which kinds of records it can be used on: Location, Driver, Vehicle, Customer, Product and Order.

How to open Groups

Go to Registry → Groups. The list shows each group’s Name, Description and Group types.

How to create a group

  1. Go to Registry → Groups.
  2. Click Add New Group.
  3. In Group details, fill in:
    • Name — required.
    • Description — optional.
    • Group types — at least one: the kinds of records the group can be used on.
  4. Click Save.

Where groups are used

Once a group exists, you can pick it on the records that match its group types:

Group typeWhere you pick it
CustomerCustomer groups on the customer.
LocationLocation groups on the location. You can also filter the locations list by group.
DriverSelect groups on the driver.
VehicleVehicle groups on the vehicle.
ProductProduct groups on the product.

Groups also show up as filters elsewhere, for example in planning and in Reports.

How to edit or delete a group

  1. Go to Registry → Groups and click the group.
  2. Change the details and click Save, or click Delete in the panel footer.
  3. To delete, confirm with Delete when the panel asks Delete group? This can’t be undone.
