Workshifts
A workshift is one period a driver works — for example Tuesday 08:00–15:00 in Van 12. Most workshifts are created from the driver’s standard workdays. The Workshifts tab lists them day by day, and is where you add a one-off shift or change a single day.
How to open Workshifts
Go to Registry → Workshifts. You can also click the Workshifts link on a driver’s row in Registry → Drivers to see only that driver’s shifts.
The list shows Driver, Date, Start time, End time, Work duration, Break duration, Vehicles and Stops by default.
How to choose which shifts you see
- Driver — pick one driver, or All drivers.
- Period — Today, Tomorrow, Next 7 days or Next 30 days, or pick your own Date range. The tab opens on Next 7 days.
How to add a workshift
Use this for one-off work, such as an extra Saturday shift.
- Go to Registry → Workshifts.
- Click New Workshift.
- Pick the Driver.
- Fill in the cards (see below).
- Click Save.
What’s on a workshift
| Card | What you set |

| Working hours | From and To — a start and end time, each with a date. |
| Vehicles | The vehicles the driver uses on this shift. |
| Start address | Where the shift starts, and whether it ends at the same address (Yes, No with a Stop Address, or No end address). |
| Skills | The skills for this shift. By default they come from the driver and vehicles; click Set to manual skills to set them yourself, or Switch to driver and vehicles skills to go back. |
| Freeze? | Prevent orders from being planned into this workshift automatically. |
| Breaks | The breaks on the shift. Shown on an existing shift. |
A workshift can’t overlap with another workshift of the same driver, and the end can’t be before the start.
How to change a single day
- Go to Registry → Workshifts and click the shift.
- Change the times, vehicles, start address, skills or freeze setting.
- Click Save.
How to delete a workshift
- Go to Registry → Workshifts and click the shift.
- Click Delete in the panel footer.
- Read the warning and click Delete to confirm.
The panel asks Delete work shift? This can’t be undone. If orders are planned on the shift, it also tells you how many of them will be moved back to Unassigned.
Delete is only offered while the shift can still be deleted.
